this weekend and the cores for my personal SMICs didn't arrive on Friday like they were supposed to.. I even paid extra shipping to have it sent on a 2-day service... So I pulled the fuel pump assy and made the determination that I will not be able to fit two OEM pumps into one side, and after inspecting the passenger side of the fuel tank, it was clear that the baffle tray was only on the driver's side of the tank.. Which, BTW folks, I dont recommend putting a fuel pump in the passenger side as the pump WILL run dry under hard acceleration and cause whichever side of the engine you have that pump feeding to run lean. So I put the new OEM TT pump up for sale in the classifieds and sold it within 3 hours or so, and then I ordered two walbro 255L/H pumps. That pretty much put my fuel system on hold, and I needed something to do other than watching TV. :) I had a bucket of bolts from the other subframe and went to town. :) My nickel plating setup needed some maintenance anyway so I got it all cleaned up and did my thing. Pretty much just a laid back sort of day. ;-) At the rate I'm going though, I'll probably have her running next weekend. :) The plating is only about a half-thousandth thick after a 30-minute dip, which doesn't affect the thread engagement.
